Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our IT and digital services team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions, while developing your expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into data science tasks.
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources.
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms under supervision.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and visualize findings to support decision-making.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environments.
• Document processes, code, and model performance for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI and data science to contribute fresh ideas.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python (or R) for data analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
• Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
