Introduction

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Safety Specialist to join our team within the public administration and defense sector. You will lead process safety management initiatives and drive a proactive safety culture across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze safety data and prepare comprehensive performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Develop and maintain process safety management (PSM) frameworks in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify safety gaps and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor safety performance trends and provide actionable insights to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote continuous improvement in safety practices

Technical Skills

• Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and practices
• Safety data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar)
• Root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.)
• Risk assessment tools (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA)
• Safety performance metrics and KPI reporting
