Introduction

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate cost estimation and management of financial aspects across project phases, ensuring cost efficiency and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain bills of quantities (BOQ) for various construction projects.
• Conduct cost estimation and cost planning to support project budgeting and bidding.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare progress reports.
• Review and verify quantity measurements and ensure accuracy with project drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize resource allocation and cost control.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, contracts, and final accounts.

Technical Skills

• Cost estimation and quantity take-off
• Bills of quantities (BOQ) preparation and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-based cost modeling
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Experience with quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and project cost control
