Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC systems to join our construction projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with specifications, and alignment with design intent.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings for mechanical and HVAC systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with design engineers and other project stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Verify that materials, dimensions, and installation details match approved designs.
• Provide clear feedback and recommendations to improve design quality and constructability.
• Ensure that all revisions and updates are accurately reflected in the drawings.
• Maintain documentation and track review status to support project progress.

Technical Skills

• HVAC systems design
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical shop drawings
• Knowledge of relevant construction codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA)
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software
• Familiarity with project documentation and quality control processes
