Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer (MEP) to oversee and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations on construction projects. This role requires a hands-on professional with mid-level experience who can ensure that all MEP systems are installed according to specifications, standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily MEP installations on site to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other site engineers to resolve technical issues
• Inspect installed systems and conduct quality checks to identify deviations or defects
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, material logs, and inspection reports
• Ensure all MEP works adhere to safety regulations and building codes
• Assist in the review of shop drawings and technical submittals
• Monitor material delivery and storage to prevent damage or shortages
• Provide technical guidance to installation teams and troubleshoot on-site problems

Technical Skills

• HVAC design principles and installation methods
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
• Understanding of local building codes and safety standards
• Basic knowledge of project management tools for tracking progress
