About the role
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work closely with contractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of all MEP trades.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all MEP trades and installations to ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve on-site coordination issues.
- Monitor MEP installation progress and ensure compliance with quality standards and codes.
- Prepare and maintain coordination schedules, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation and functionality of systems.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Experience with project management and coordination software (e.g., BIM, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Understanding of relevant building codes and safety regulations.
