Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. This mid-level role focuses on designing and analyzing structural components for a variety of building projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural components for building and infrastructure projects
• Perform structural analysis using industry-standard methods and software
• Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Conduct site inspections to verify structural integrity and quality
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro)
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE 7)
• Experience with CAD software for structural modeling (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
• Understanding of material properties (concrete, steel, timber, masonry)
• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) tools
• Ability to interpret geotechnical and soil reports
• Knowledge of construction methods and site practices
