Introduction

We are looking for a mid-level veterinarian to join an agricultural and animal health practice. The role focuses on safeguarding the health and welfare of livestock, supporting farm and facility teams, and delivering reliable preventive and emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with farm and facility staff to coordinate animal health and husbandry practices.
• Respond to emergency animal cases with prompt assessment, triage, and treatment.
• Conduct routine health examinations and monitor individual or herd health status.
• Administer vaccines and preventive care protocols to maintain animal health and reduce disease transmission.

Technical Skills

• Animal surgery: perform safe and effective surgical procedures with attention to recovery.
• Diagnostic imaging interpretation: use and interpret imaging modalities such as radiography and ultrasound.
• Zoonotic disease management: identify, control, and prevent diseases transmissible between animals and humans.
