About the role
Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our construction team. This role focuses on designing mechanical and electrical systems for various building projects, providing an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Prepare detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated system designs.
- Review and revise designs based on project requirements and feedback.
- Assist in site inspections and ensure designs meet specifications.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and design.
- Experience with Revit MEP for 3D modeling and coordination.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical system principles.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC).
- Knowledge of load calculation software and tools is a plus.
