Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Senior Heavy Equipment Driver to operate cranes and heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to coordinate effectively with onsite teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of heavy equipment and cranes to ensure safety and functionality
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery, including lubrication, part checks, and minor repairs
• Execute crane operations with precision, handling materials and loads according to project specifications
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to align equipment usage with workflow requirements
• Optimize equipment utilization to minimize downtime and improve overall operational efficiency
• Adhere strictly to occupational safety and health procedures at all times

Technical Skills

• Certified crane operator with expertise in operating mobile and overhead cranes
• Proficient in daily inspection procedures for heavy equipment
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques for cranes and heavy machinery
• Familiarity with load charts, rigging, and safe lifting practices
• Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use communication tools for coordination on worksites
