Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in the financial services and insurance sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations, leading accounting processes, and delivering timely, compliant financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate and timely postings.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management, summarizing financial status and variances.
• Oversee monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits and provide required documentation.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP standards.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Experience with tax compliance software and regulatory reporting.
