Introduction

A Senior Procurement Engineer is needed to lead procurement and supply chain activities for construction projects. This role focuses on supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, tender evaluation, and cost control, ensuring that materials and services meet project specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships and performance, including supplier qualification, evaluation, and continuous follow-up.
• Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with project requirements, budgets, and construction schedules.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accurate material specifications, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to align procurement activities with project milestones and site needs.
• Monitor project budgets and cost control, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing procurement expenditures.
• Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
