Introduction
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The ideal candidate has solid experience with accounting software and a strong command of financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures in a timely manner.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Financial statement preparation and analysis.
- General ledger reconciliation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Cash flow management and forecasting.
